Can a train be made convertible?

The idea of travelling in a convertible train with the wind in your hair is very appealig, but, alas, not very realistic.
Trains travel much too fast for such an innovation to be feasible.

Can a train be made convertible?

The idea of turning a train into a convertible is very appealing indeed, but it is, unfortunately, impossible. The speed of the train is far too great, creating violent turbulance within the train itself. Not only would this slow down the train, it would also be very dangerous to passengers, not to mention uncomfortable: objects would start flying around, passengers would be stuck into their seats… Trains are designed to be as airtight and aerodynamic as possible, i.e. having the lowest possible wind resistance.
